Has anyone heard of Drew's Cruise Corner?

They are the lowest on Cruise Compete for a last minute cruise.

Feedback?

I've heard of him, but I can't speak to his service.  He's floated around on a couple of other agent forums.

What's this mean?  There are agent forums?

There are other message boards that are only open to agents.  I'll just say that he didn't make a lot of friends there, but that in itself doesn't mean a thing as to his service to clients.

Another no. My thoughts on this are that the cheapest may or may not always be the best. If you get good service and a low price, great! But a low price without great service . . .

I normally book months ahead.....like a year or so.

This is about 6 weeks from now.  So I can't think of what "service" I'll need.  No need to watch for price drops.  All I need is a good price, I'll pick my cabin, pick what time I want to eat;), and go online, fill out the info. and get my docs (online too).

As long as he's reliable, that's all I need for this cruise.  Am I missing something?

That indeed may be all you desire.  I just haven't heard anyone here say they could atest to this agent's reliability.

This guy may be a great agent with a great price.  I used a discount internet broker twice before (years ago) and didn't have any problems.  But I now use a travel  agent that I know will help me if I have to file an insurance claim, or if I have any other problems.

I always say to "trust your gut feeling".....if you have a good feeling for this guy, I say go for it!

If that's all that you require, then no, you aren't missing anything, up to the point of departure. If you go with this agent, please let us know how everything went.

I booked with him yesterday.

All went smoothly.  I have my edocs.

He was courteous and professional.  And he said "thank you for your business."

I liked that.:big grin:  Some travel agents make you feel like they're doing you a favor.
