Hi everyone,

Some of you may or may not know, but Paul and I are distributors for a line of nutritional supplements.  We love what we're doing and love seeing the quality of life improve for those we introduce to our products.

I just want to share some info with all the menopausal ladies here.  I have got several friends who have virtually eliminated their hot flashes and night sweats by using our multivitamin gel.  This is not something the company promotes, but the proof is in the pudding so they say.

So far I personally know of 6 people this has worked for, from by sister-in-law to my hairdresser.  This is really exciting for us...I'm looking for more testimonials so if anyone is interested in giving it a try...let me know.

I hope the administrators don't mind me giving my business a little plug here but I think it could be of benefit to some of you.

Kathy

tell us more about it Kathy
I will admit I suffered ... from what I have read, probably severe peri menopause symptoms. I tried all the herbal and nada. I tried the antidepressants and nada. I did not try the Suzanne Somers diet and and supplement (which involve daily growth hormone injections)
Since I started the artificial hormone replacement of pregnant female horse urine pills............. Premarin....... I have never felt better. It saved my life.
I am slowly decreasing my daily dosage, so that I am off them in 2 years time, hoping that I am over the worst part of perimenopause, and can then started with something herbal.
Let's hear about your product. Enquiring minds need to know, and the more we know the better we are...........

Happy to share

The product is called MIN.  It's quite simply 100% of the RDI of vitamins and 75% of most minerals...suspended in a gel...in other words...these aren't pills.

I can't tell you why it's working the way it is for women, just that it does.  It's my personal belief that it could be certain minerals such as selenium, coupled with the fact that you are getting 90% absorption by taking it in gel form.

Hormone replacement scares me a little...my breast cancer was estrogen positive...so I am always looking for natural alternatives.

Here's more on the MIN....just click on products.

Very interesting topic, and one I could have used 3 years ago!!!!!   :big grin:

However, I will say that I must have had the easiest transition thru menopause ever!
I had a period in June and just stopped.........never another period.  No cramping, no spotting, very little (if any) mood swings.  I did have some "warm" flashes for about 6 months, but they really were not bad at all. No night sweats.....a little warmer than normal, but no sweats at all.
The only problem I did have was trouble sleeping for about a year and a half.  I count myself very lucky to have gone thru menopause early (age 48) and had such an easy time of it.

I had already decided that, due to ethical reasons, I would not go on HRT.  Or at least, if I really had to, I would consider the synthetic version only. I am so happy I did not have to!

I am one of those it helped:smiley:    I have been suffering since I turned 45:sucks: These past few months have been HORRIBLE .I haven't had an *episode* in over a month.I was getting them every night and I wasn't sleeping .I didn't know what it was to  have a good night

Day time is 100% better .Once in awhile I will feel the heat but I am almost all the time in a hot store a hot car or working around the house and I get overheated anyway.

Catnip my mom was just like you .Never knew it was happening .I unfortunately take after my grandmothers .Both of them suffered .

My mood swings are better but I do take medication .I had to not even a question on if I need it .I do:crazy:I also think that the supplements I am taking are helping .I take more than one.

I love these supplements . I feel so much better .:big grin:

I also like the skincare line .My skin feels and looks healthy . I have used many many different lines from Chanel to Ponds  Lancome was always my favorite .As I age:( I am always looking for that magic product .

I really like this one .I have been using it everyday for the past two weeks and I see the difference. . .:cloudnine:

Thanks to Kathy and Paul I feel and look  good on the inside and out.

Yes, HRT can be very scary stuff. We have a friend who has estrogen dependant breast Ca, she is taking meds to totally deplete any estrogen. The cancer had spread big time, and she has been basically cured with various types of heavy chemo.
And another woman who is losing her battle as we speak, very sad, how one is helped to a cure and the other isn't. Back to the Cancer Sucks thread.........

Gals...please be careful if your breast cancer is estrogen dependant. I know many plant estrogens can be harmful and changes into a certain estrogen that fuels the cancer. Please check with your doctor before taking some of the estrogen replacements from plants.

My DH has been on many supplements since his DX 81/2 years ago, including selenium, high dose Vit D, calcium and another supplement for men. All I do know for sure is all the oncologists tell him to continue what we are doing.

Hell....they could even eliminate the fuel surcharge....but then again CC wouldn't be as interesting if they did.  :big grin:

Nah. They'd just go back to the same old round-up of gripe topics: tipping, food, smoking, chair hogs, kids in the pool, etc. Pretty soon they'll be complaining there's too much lobster on the menu and that crewmembers shouldn't be pushing champagne on them at embarkation. :shoot me:

Wait a minute! What were we talking about? Oh, right -- menopause. I forgot...

Hey, maybe those people over on CC could use what you got. Here's a list to start with: Neal Stuber, Don Haynes, Electricron, GaryCarla. Wait a minute, I'm seeing a trend here... Is there such a thing as MALE menopause?

Yes, it would be a blast!! I imagine I'm through PMSing so I'm blaming it on menopause. ;)

Did Fundy just say vote? :roflmao:
