Sam loved the cruise, Bermuda, and most of ALL the COMPANY!!! And he would love to do it all again - especially the leaving the kids home! :drunkfriends:
But after discussing it and realizing our time constraints of limited vacation days and lots of places to go and see (not to mention family obligations that cut into that precious vacation time  ), we're gonna to have to wait more than a year before heading back to Bermuda. Let's just hope that it doesn't take us another 11 years to do so!!
Next year, we will have to use some of his vacation days to go to a family wedding and a family reunion type vacation in June. It's gonna be in MA. The wedding will be nice. The girls will be in the wedding as a Junior Bridesmaids, I think. It will be a HUGE wedding party - at least 8-10 kids alone, I think. The family reunion will be a big headache, we predict that already - so we would actually prefer to visit with the CaptN and M-C instead!
Between the wedding, the extra days he took off this year, and a short family vacation WITH the girls (he missed the last 3 vacations I took with them), there isn't any more time for the Dream.:moping:
But, who knows? Stranger things have happened. I didn't think we would make the Crown either. And it was the BEST!!

Arrrggghhhh!!!! Mom has day surgery scheduled today. She went in around 11am and I was supposed to go and pick her up around 3:30pm. She JUST called and she hasn't even gone in yet for her procedure!!! She expects to go in around 3pm hopefully. Poor Mom. She is STARVING. She hasn't been able to eat since last night.
Looks like I won't be able to pick her up until after 6 or 7pm.

Actually, Sam is talking with the family to see if we are having Thanksgiving in NYC or up in Boston this year. Not sure since, his uncle and his family are going to Hong Kong this December to do some wedding shopping and so won't have time to host Thanksgiving at their home this year. Since my parents are home this year, we can travel up.

The nurse told her no showers today - didn't want her falling in the tub. What? No shower after being in the hospital all day?  Mom left the door to the bathroom open so I could hear her and I asked her every few minutes if she was o'kay.
Mom and I doctor was chatting before the procedure. The doctor was asking her about Mom's cruise this summer then started to talk about how great the food was on cruises!! My Mom said "I am VERY hungry and this conversation is NOT helping!!!" Doctor said "ooops, let's change the subject."

Reading the review of the Last Crown sailing .It sure does sound like we went the right week ,not only for the weather but just the mood of the ship. They were all busy getting ready to leave .Our cruise was definitely a happy one . Didn't the Captain say what ship he was going on I thought he said it at the meet n greet and I am almost sure he told Laurel and I when we ran into him when he was going jogging Hottie pants is going on the Majesty that I remember Where is Laurel I haven't talked to her since we got back Is she on chat?
Joseph did his sea glass show n tell it was a big hit .He gave everyone a piece to take home I know they say not to but I took a tiny bit of oil on my fingers and just went over the pieces .Made such a difference ,I don't know if they will stay that way but they look so much better. In water they look nice .Joseph has a glass filled with them .I don't know why but he likes it.I think because you see the colors .I told him I would give him something nicer than a drinking glass but he said no.
Still trying to find a reasonable fare to Florida .They want almost 400 roundtrip .Way to much .I never pay that much for my mother .I will wait it out .Once I have this trip set I will work on the Dream .Joe needs me to take it slow All the money going out none coming in
I will still hold out hope that we will see you in Oct but I know we will get together soon for dinner
