We are going to an All Inclusive in Mexico in a couple of weeks time so I expect to sample a cocktail or two or . . . I know I'll run out of ideas after a few days so - what is your favourite cocktail (with recipe, if possible)?

Looking forward to sampling some new cocktails :martini:

Anything with tequila...straight tequila preferred!!!

I have had:
Lemon Drop Margari(martini) made with tequila.
Long Island Iced Tea made with no gin, double tequila.
Tequila sunrise...orange juice, tequila with a splash of cranberry or pomegrante juice.

Have fun planning your cocktail vacation in Mexico! You do need to try the tequila!
:kiss::kiss:

I'm not sure about straight tequila - maybe I'll start off with Margaritas and Tequila Sunrises and work up to leaving out the mixers :lmao1:

One of my favorite drinks while laying on the beach is very simple but tastes very tropical, just two ingredients: pineapple juice and Malibu(coconut) rum! YUM!:martini:

That does sound good!

I usually go mojito for something refreshing.

I read somewhere of a Champagne Mojitos which sounds very good!!

I wonder if the bartenders at the Epic club have recovered yet from the orders for Mojitos - 6 and 8 at a time :martini::lmao1:

I brought back to bottles of Whalers Dark Rum but was never able to match what I drank on Maui. May have something to do with the location.

I have to agree. The Mai-tais we had in Hawaii were the absolute best ever. Both in Honolulu and Kuaui. :martini:

HUGO

Those who love prosecco and the taste of elder will be absolutely stoked by this HUGO cocktail! Receiving a summerlike freshness through fresh mint the cocktail gets its pep through sparkling water. All in all it is an ideal mixture to enjoy the summer and to dream of sun, palm trees, beaches and the ocean!

Utensils:
1 Ice Cube
Wine Glass

Ingredients for 1 person:
1 - 2 cl Elderflower Syrup
1 quarter Lime
2 Mint Leaves
150 ml Prosecco
Sparkling water

Preparation:
1. Quarter the lime, squeeze it over the wine glass and put one quarter of lime into the glass.
2. Add the elderflower syrup, mint leaves and 1 ice cube and top up with prosecco and sparkling water

This sounds so good!

My favorite restaurant/bar makes a pear martini with Grey Goose La Poire, St. Germaine (elderflower liquor) and prosecco -- I LOVE it!  Was going to buy a bottle of St. Germaine -- YIKES is it expensive! -- and make them at home.  Hoping I come across some nips of it so I can try to make it.
