So I have a really quick story i want to share. A couple of weeks ago my family and i went on a cruise to the Caribbean. My two friends also came with me. The cruise was a life-changing experience that I'll never forget.

However the story I want to share happened when we departed the cruise ship. The night before, all passengers need to set their luggage outside of their doorways. The stewards then take the bags to the docking area, where passengers then find their bags. I had a Eagle Creek Luggage bag (strong bag that looked like this)  that I put outside of the doorway the night before. When morning came, we got off the cruise ship and headed towards the luggage pickup.

It happened that someone accidentally picked up my bag. (with all my useless yet meaningful souvenirs in it) We ended up going home in defeat.
However, a couple days later, i got a phone call from a taxi company in California. It turned out that the lady who took my bag actually left it in the taxi because she didn't know what to do with it. The taxi found my name, called me up, and then shipped my bag back home.

It was in perfect condition when I came. All I that was a broken was an armadillo souvenir from a Mexico port. My church cloths and expensive  stuff was just fine.
Proves how much easier it is to find lost stuff. ;)

That was really good. I mean, the fact that you ever saw that bag again is amazing.

I was able to go with my two best friends.  Not very often are you able to take your friends on vacation.  My family was there also.  I won't forget the many things such as:
  • Mexican Tacos (fish)
  • Riding golf Carts Through The City
  • Playing Mini-golf on the cruise ship. (I have been on the Elation and Paradise)
  • Sitting around the piano bar and listening to the guy play the songs we requested
  • Singing Keroeke and listen to drunken people sink.  ... quite an experiance.
  • Listening to a live showband, guitar, trombone, and trumpet solos
Those were some of the experiances I had on that cruise.  Thanks for asking

I missed it on this thread, but when he posted about Carnival Paradise being a non-smoking ship and having one stop in Ensenada & Catalina Island, that was a giveaway.
